I woke and reached for my phone with enthusiasm.
My dear friends from Bitcoin had left me many loving options, just for me — what pals.
A sprightly walk around the park at 6.00am set my heart racing.
By 6.05am, I missed Candy Crush but fought the urge to return home to Save the Bears.
I needed coffee.
Coffee
My spirits were high when I reached the local café.
The lacklustre service and the burnt, milky coffee did not quash my free heart.
Although the lovely lady who dragged ten chairs across the floor — making them sing like a thousand violated violins — nearly broke me.
Shopping
I discovered that shopping centre parking during the week is rather stressful.
The weekday folk don’t seem to have grasped the concept of left and right, be it walking or driving.
As Beyoncé sang: to the left, to the left.
Lycra
I also discovered that Lycra, no matter how expensive, is only for the morning.
You may feel light and tight at the start of the day, but damn — that fabric is flexible.
After 12.00pm, look in the mirror.
A lot of nothing today.
A lot of joy today.
Tomorrow morning I will check my emails and walk the same park.
Or will I?
